GSD Insurance Agency Inc. was originally formed as The Milton J. Grant Agency in the 1950s by Milton J. Grant. Milton was succeeded by his son, Edward Grant in the 1960s. In 1997, the Milton J. Grant Agency merged with two other independent agents to form Grant, Smith & Dassler, Inc., a business well known to the Pearl River NY community.
Edward's son, Russell Grant, and daughter, Kristin Grant Erickson, formed GSD Insurance Agency Inc. in 2012. Russell is the President and majority stockholder of this agency. He is a licensed insurance producer with an MBA from the College of Insurance and has 30 years of insurance experience. GSD is affiliated with Tonry Insurance Group, Inc., in Braintree, MA. This affiliation was initiated by Russell's sister, a long-term employee of Tonry Insurance Group, Inc. Kristin graduated from Skidmore College in 1988 with a B.A. in Economics and has over 30 years of experience in surety and office management.
After growing up in Nyack, NY, we moved our office to downtown Nyack, just off Broadway. We have proudly served insurance clients since 1950, providing professional, personalized service and competitive pricing.
