Gerber Life also offers whole life insurance for children and teens. This includes its Grow-Up Plan for children at least 14 days old with coverage up to $50,000 that can become $100,000 by age 18, and its Life Insurance for Young Adults coverage that automatically doubles at age 18.

Endowment life insurance

Gerber Life's College Plan pays out a lump sum if the policyholder dies or on a specific date. The plan is meant to be a college savings plan doubling as life insurance for adults. 

This plan provides insurance for one of the student's parents, and often, the payout date chosen falls around the time the child would graduate. Coverage ranging from $10,000 to $150,000 is available.

Accidental death and dismemberment insurance

Gerber Life offers accident protection in amounts ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. This coverage pays out if the policyholder suffers a disabling injury or dies while insured.
