SECURA Insurance Companies was founded in 1900 and is headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin. SECURA is a property-casualty insurance company that provides solutions for farmers and agricultural workers, business owners, and nonprofit organization workers.

Today, SECURA operates in 13 states, mainly in the central region of the country. In 2017, the carrier was recognized as one of Ward Group’s 50 top-performing property and casualty insurance companies for the fourth consecutive year. It is rated "A" (Excellent) by AM Best.

While the company previously offered both personal and commercial insurance, effective Nov. 1, 2023, it no longer accepted any new home and auto insurance clients. By December 1, 2025, it will completely exit the personal lines market by non-renewing existing home and auto insurance customers.
