Methodology
When comparing the most and least expensive car brands to insure this year, we compared rates for a female driver with a clean driving record and the following amounts of coverage in a car insurance policy:
- $100,000 of bodily injury liability per person
- $300,000 of bodily injury liability per accident
- $100,000 in property damage liability
- $100,000 in uninsured motorist coverage
- $100,000 in each other state-required coverage
Deductible amounts of $500 for collision and comprehensive coverage were also factored into the rates quoted above.
